Personal Testimonials of Members and Guests of Parmasters Memphis Memphis City Councilman Jack Sammons Scott Martin Amanda Martin Wayne Wilcox Geoff Conners Paul Allen Member Testimonials About 2 Months ago, after realizing people were getting promoted based on their golf game and golf tips, I decided it was time I learn the game.  I had tried years earlier, even took a couple lessons with a TPC Golf pro, but what he was telling me to do seemed to defy the laws of nature, though he made it out to be so easy.  After 2-3 weeks of missing the ball, punching dirt up into my eyes, I was getting frustrated.  I didn't even keep score, because a lot of times I took so many swings that we were holding up the next group, so I would pick up the ball and move on.  Then , someone I met on the course told me about ParMasters.  I fell in love immediately!  I was still bad, but I felt like I could improve with a practice facility as awesome as ParMasters.  I attended the free 2 hour "Hit the Ball Straight" seminar, and within 2 weeks, using the techniques I learned, I shot a 106.  Since then I have been at ParMasters 3-4 days a week, shooting about 103 avg during my weekend golf rounds.  The people are so friendly here, both staff and members, which is why I like to think of it as my Second Home.  The facility is top notch and they are constantly upgrading things.  On another note, I highly recommend the burgers!! Eliot----September 2007      This letter is not about what a membership at Parmasters will do for your golf game.  (One tour of the Parmasters facilities with one of their friendly employees and it should be obvious that your game will benefit from a membership there.)  What this letter is about is the rare experience of a Total Commitment to the customer!  This commitment is shared among management, the top notch golf professionals and the entire staff at Parmasters.  Each and every person I have had the pleasure to interact with at Parmasters has exhibited an unerring willingness to make my experience there a satisfying one.  Thank you everybody! We were pleasantly surprised at the progress we made with our golf game. We really showed a big improvement from the previous springs. Normally, it would take us a couple of months of playing to get back to our early fall handicap. After practicing at your center, we’ve been getting a lot more pars (and even some birdies). It’s been a wonderful experience and we’re recommending this center to many friends.   Thanks, Susan Robinson--April 2007      I played in my first ever golf tournament on March 30, 2007.  I have never played before in my life.  I bought clubs, shoes and a glove, but really had no idea what I was doing. Everyone was trying to tell me to do this and to do that which was very frustrating. I heard about ParMasters 2 hour seminar. After I completed the seminar I decided to go to the driving range.  To my surprise I was able to make contact with the ball 100% of time and hit the ball straight 95% of the time.  I have since signed up for the 8 hour session and for the 24 one-on-one sessions.  ParMasters has given me the confidence to continue to learn how to play golf.  In just over a month I have learned to hit the ball straight.  I can’t wait to see how I am playing by the end of the year.  Thank you Parmasters.   Shawn Murphy---May 2007 I was very pleased to be invited to write a testimonial on behalf of Parmasters. For one thing, I was one of the early members, joining even before completion of the facilities. For another thing, it shows their sincerity in soliciting these testimonials; they are clearly not asking just talented, successful golfers to contribute!             If I’m going to write a testimonial, however, I must be honest. Parmasters is simply not for everyone. If you don’t like practicing the game in a climate controlled environment with state-of-the-art facilities, and extremely friendly, competent staff to greet and help you, then Parmasters is not for you. If you’d rather not get detailed feedback about swing mechanics – if you’d rather blame the wind, your playing partner, the sun, or the gods for an errant shot rather than examine spin, speed, launch angle, etc. – then Parmasters is not for you. And Parmasters is definitely not for you if you prefer the culture of the driving range – hitting golf balls the consistency of a dead petrified cat to unknown distances off rugs slightly softer than concrete, while dodging young children and the shots of others – rather than the comfort of computerized hitting bays, huge chipping and putting green, and specialty shot areas.             Since joining Parmasters two things have happened to my golf game. I enjoy playing even more (which I thought was impossible) and I’ve knocked at least five strokes off my game. So I guess when all is said and done – Parmasters may not be for everyone, but Parmasters is definitely for me.
